“Our Sex Life Was Non-Existent” – Somizi

The highly anticipated season of Somizi Mhlongo’s reality TV show, Living The Dream With Somizi has finally premiered and as promised by the producers, the show is nothing but amazing.

For the first time, the talented media personality who was accused of abuse by his estranged husband Mohale Motaung has spoken up about the incident that almost turned his life for the worst as many brands that worked with him at the time of the allegations decided to distance themselves from him.

According to Somizi, whose career in the entertainment industry spans over decades, nothing could have prepared him for that moment and when he thought that the pandemic that hit our shores and turned everything into a standstill was the tsunami that he should be afraid of, he thought wrong.

The abuse allegations that were leveled against the child star were leaked through an audio that was shared with the media and Somizi who was put on ice and has since been able to bounce back, shared that at the time when the leaked audio went viral, he never listened to it.

“I have never had the time nor the energy to listen to it, I have probably heard everything that was said on the recording, but I have never listened to it myself,” he can be heard saying during the first episode of his reality show, adding that he was shocked by some of the things that were said in the recording.

According to Somizi who it was revealed and alleged in the recording that was leaked that he loves group sex, there were so many red flags in his relationship with Mohale and revealed that their sex life was boring to a point that he had to suggest sex therapy but Mohale who was in denial refused to attend the therapy sessions.

“I tried to find many ways of making it work, the sex life was dead,” Somizi said before going further to pour cold water on the allegations around fisting.

Season 5 of Living The Dream With Somizi moves from Mzansi Magic to the popular streaming platform Showmax, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.

Viewers can expect to see media personalities including Pearl Thusi, Shauwn Mkhize, Vusi Nova, Kelly Khumalo and Lerato Kganyago.
