Multifaceted creative Itumeleng Motuba has done so much in her career and she has now also added author to her long list of talents.
The self-published author of Lady Ole says doing research prior to writing or even publishing the book helped her.

“I got so many conflicting ideas. My book is an erotic thriller. It’s a market which is not really popular in South Africa. I knew I had to stick to my guns and so far the book is doing well, despite all the challenges of having to be an all rounder.

She disputes the widely known stereotype that South Africans don’t read. She explains that it’s all due to access to reading material or books and the culture of reading.

“To all creatives that are nurturing multiple talents and navigating the industry. I just want to say, be fearless and stick to your guns. Surround yourself with creatives and have a safe outlet to be able to feed your creative flair,” she says.

She currently hosts a radio show on Bop Radio, she is a motivational speaker and former journalist. She credits her growth to being part of the State Theatre and all the creative movements in and around Pretoria.

She will be performing at Shaguma Garden Café on the 9th of August to commemorate Women’s Day.
