TV presenter Anele Zondo has bid farewell to Channel O’s music show Massive Music after four years of presenting the show.

The bubbly media personality in a statement revealed that she decided to part ways with the show which she co-hosted along side Lalla Hiriyama and Smash Afrika because growth came knocking and she has big plans lined up for the future.

“Four years ago Massive Music invited me to be part of their music journey. For all these years I became part and parcel of your television screens and I’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of Mzansi’s finest talents and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity, ” the statement reads.

“Every Friday I took to that stage with so much pride, proudly representing a channel that authentically told a story of South African music  and being the best too.”

Anele is not the only personality that’s bidding farewell to the show; media personality Lalla Hiriyama has also parted ways with the show after five years. She took to Instagram to share the sad news and said that Friday, 29 April was a hard day. 

Lalla also sent love to Anele and said: “Anele Zondo for being such a beautiful energy on set with talent and a heart to match that beautiful exterior.
