As the South African Endurance Series prepares for the Nine Hours of Kyalami, Kefi Wheel Torque introduces THE APEX CLUB, an elevated hospitality experience bringing together motorsport, fashion, music and contemporary culture by Kefilwe Mabote,
On Saturday, 14 November 2026, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will become the setting for a new expression of motorsport hospitality as THE APEX CLUB makes its debut alongside the South African Endurance Series’ Nine Hours of Kyalami.
Curated by luxury motorsport and lifestyle platform Kefi Wheel Torque, THE APEX CLUB reimagines the traditional race-day experience, bringing the intensity of endurance racing into conversation with fashion, entertainment, premium hospitality and culture. Beginning at 08:00, the experience will offer guests an exclusive vantage point from which to enjoy one of South Africa’s most anticipated motorsport events.
At its heart, THE APEX CLUB is an exploration of the culture surrounding motorsport. Beyond the competition on the circuit, it recognises the growing intersection of automotive design, personal style, music, technology and lifestyle. The result is a hospitality destination designed to bring together motorsport enthusiasts, industry leaders, tastemakers and a discerning audience in an environment that celebrates both performance and contemporary culture.

“Motorsport has always been about more than what happens on the track. It’s about the people, the style and the energy around it. With THE APEX CLUB, we wanted to create a space where South Africa’s love of speed meets its love of culture, fashion and great company. The Nine Hours of Kyalami is the perfect stage, and we can’t wait to welcome our guests to a race day like no other,” says Kefilwe Mabote, Founder and Executive Chairperson of Kefi Wheel Torque.
An Elevated Approach to Race-Day Hospitality
The experience will be anchored by premium hospitality spaces overlooking the circuit and pit lane, offering guests an opportunity to engage with the race while enjoying a carefully curated programme of entertainment and brand experiences.
THE APEX CLUB will feature two hospitality environments: VIP and VVIP. Both are designed to offer a distinctive perspective on the Nine Hours of Kyalami, with the VVIP experience providing access to the exclusive Apex Lounge, reserved premium seating, elevated catering and dedicated hospitality services.
The programme extends beyond the traditional lounge experience. Guests can expect live DJ performances, curated entertainment, interactive brand activations and exclusive APEX TV content, bringing the action and atmosphere of the circuit into the wider hospitality environment.
Technology will also play a central role in the experience, with interactive attractions including a sim racing championship, reaction-light challenges and a race predictor. These installations offer guests an opportunity to engage with the competitive spirit of motorsport beyond the track itself.

Selected meet-and-greet opportunities and special guest experiences will further contribute to the programme, positioning THE APEX CLUB as a meeting point for automotive enthusiasts, fashion-conscious audiences, entrepreneurs and cultural tastemakers.
Kyalami: A Fitting Stage for Motorsport Culture
The choice of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is significant. As one of South Africa’s most recognised motorsport venues, the circuit has long been associated with the country’s automotive heritage and racing culture.
The Nine Hours of Kyalami, the season finale of the Southern African Endurance Series, provides an ideal backdrop for the launch. With more than 10,000 attendees expected at the event, THE APEX CLUB will welcome approximately 500 VVIP guests, creating an exclusive hospitality destination within one of the country’s major motorsport gatherings.
The collaboration also reflects a broader evolution in how motorsport is experienced and presented. Increasingly, race-day culture extends beyond the circuit, creating opportunities for brands, hospitality, entertainment and fashion to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
Through Kefi Wheel Torque, THE APEX CLUB seeks to contribute to this evolving landscape, building an experience that celebrates the people, creativity and lifestyle that surround the automotive world.

A New Destination for Luxury Motorsport Experiences
Kefi Wheel Torque began as a celebration of automotive design and performance before developing into a broader luxury motorsport and lifestyle platform. Bringing together car enthusiasts, premium brands and cultural tastemakers, the platform creates experiences and content that explore the intersection of automotive excellence and contemporary lifestyle.
THE APEX CLUB represents an extension of that vision: an elevated paddock experience that places equal emphasis on the spectacle of racing and the culture surrounding it.
As Kyalami prepares for the 2026 Nine Hours, the debut of THE APEX CLUB introduces a fresh dimension to South African motorsport hospitality, where speed, style, entertainment and culture share the same space.
THE APEX CLUB takes place on Saturday, 14 November 2026, from 08:00 at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Johannesburg, alongside the Southern African Endurance Series Nine Hours of Kyalami.
