SuperSport is bringing you Closer to Your Champions with a decorated Paris 2024 Olympics roster of analysts. Semenya joins fellow Olympians Ryk Neethling, Bridgitte Hartley and Geraldine Pillay among many more.

With the Olympic Games kickstarting Friday 26 July, SuperSport launched the start of the most revered sporting competition at MultiChoice City on Monday – highlighted by the screening of Paris 1924: An Olympic Epic 100 Years On, produced by iconic filmmaker Anant Singh’s Videovision Entertainment.

The occasion also marked the announcement of South African track legend and Olympic gold medallist, Caster Semenya as a SuperSport analyst.

In what will be her first stint in sports broadcasting, Semenya will be joined by fellow South African gold medallists Ryk Neethling, Penny Heyns, Lyndon Ferns, and Sizwe Lawrence Ndlovu. The stellar list of analysts also includes silver medalist Godfrey Khotso Mokoena, bronze medalist Bridgitte Harley and Olympians Geraldine Pillay and Alyssa Conley.

“I’m very excited to join the SuperSport family and share my knowledge with viewers,” Semenya said. 

“I’m looking forward to seeing how Team South Africa does and hopefully we can bring a few medals home.”
