Founding VS Luxury Group was not the straightforward path she envisioned. Initially aspiring to launch a multi-brand concept store that would showcase fashion, jewelry, and art from across the continent, Vika encountered financial challenges that forced her to rethink her strategy. “I started small, with curated ‘pop-ups’,” she shares. Though these pop-ups didn’t evolve into the store she desired, they served as the springboard for a thriving agency. When Bacardi sought a PR partner, Vika seized the opportunity, propelling her agency into the realms of marketing strategies and experiential campaigns.

Her client list reads like a luxury wishlist—Grey Goose, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Ciroc, and many more. Beyond traditional PR, Vika’s agency curates private events and travel experiences for high-net-worth individuals, crafting moments that are “effortless, classy, considered, and memorable.” The ethos of luxury she promotes transcends mere materialism; it’s about living intentionally and beautifully. “Luxury is accessible to everyone,” she insists, emphasising that it’s not solely about opulent possessions but about creating a fulfilling life enriched by art, travel, and wellness.

As a leader in the industry, Vika is passionate about uplifting women, particularly those from Africa. “I hope I am a living example of what it looks like when one decides to follow their passion and purpose,” she asserts. Her message is clear: pursuing one’s dreams requires courage and commitment. “It takes courage to go for what you want and leave the comforts of a corporate role,” she advises, reminding aspiring entrepreneurs of the necessity of community and support.

Sustainability is another cornerstone of Vika’s philosophy. She is adamant about incorporating sustainable practices into her business, recognising that women have a unique role in championing this agenda. “By nature, women are nurturers,” she notes, expressing her belief in the potential for women to lead the charge towards a more sustainable luxury landscape.
