The much-loved horseracing, entertainment, fashion and music event Durban July came back with a blast after a two year hiatus due to the global pandemic Covid-19.
Celebrities came out to play and flaunted their garments on the Greyville Race Course in Durban this past Saturday. The theme for this year was “SHOW ME THE HONEY”.
We give you some of the fashion hits and misses. Who brought the honey and who didn’t!

BEST DRESSED

1. SITHELO SHOZI

Sithelo Shozi wowed with her gold fitting dress. The hair, makeup and dress went well together.

2. MINNIE DLAMINI

Minnie Dlamini is probably the only one who dressed like she was going to a horse race event. The minimalist look suits her and she got rave reviews.

3. NANDI MADIDA

Nandi Madida also came through with a body hugging dress, which sat well on her body.

4. THULI PHONGOLO

Thuli Phongolo had two outfit changes and she looked stunning in both.

5. DJ TIRA

DJ Tira is probably one of the handful of male celebrities who even took dressing up for the race horse seriously . He looked dapper.

6. ZOLA NOMBONA

Zola Nombona has been serving looks lately. Her stylist is working overtime. She looked amazing.

WORST DRESSED

1. VUSI NOVA

Vusi Nova didn’t even try. He looked like Tarzan.

2. SOMIZI MHLONGO

Somizi Mhlongo’s two outfit changes were underwhelming.

3. LACONCO

Real Housewives of Durban’s Laconco dress didn’t look right.

4. JESSICA NKOSI

Jessica Nkosi ‘s dress didn’t do her justice.

Lasizwe has looked much better at other events than this Durban July outfit. The most basic look.

Sarah Langa could have done better. What a disappointment!
