It’s the festive season and it’s time to relax and unwind after a long year. With that being said, here is a list of upcoming events or festivals you can look forward to this December.

Nine Hours of Kyalami.

Proudly presented by Into Africa Racing and the South African Endurance Series, the Nine Hours of Kyalami marks a historic milestone as the biggest racing event in South Africa. This event led by Xolile Letlaka who is known for his work in business and as an advocate for inclusivity in motorsport, along with his partners from SAES Izak Spies and Wayne Riddell. The Nine Hours of Kyalami will be from the 15^th to the 16^th of December in Johannesburg.

Simphiwe Dana One Night Only.

A multi-award winner, performer and activist Simphiwe Dana treats her fans to a one night only show at the Baxter Theatre Centre on the 15^th of December at 19:30. It will be a exhilarating listening experience for her fans as they celebrate the year and look forward for a wonderful year next year.

Paint and Sip At The Playground Braamfontein.

Bring out your inner artist on the 16^th of December during this 2-hour creative workshop at The Playground Market in Braamfontein. There are 3 different options available for your artistic expression- Painting on a canvas, Ceramic, and Painting on a Tote Bag. All equipment will be provided and there will be plenty of food available for purchase.

Friends Like Me.

Homecoming Events present a day with some of your favourite South African artists with the Sounds from Friends at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens on the 16^th of December from 12:00- 20:00. With artists like Langa Mavuso, TKZEE, Snow Deep, and more. It’s going to be a good time with your friends, a perfect way to wind down.

This family-friendly stage adaption of the popular film will capture the attention of a new audience and keep the whole family entertained in this dazzling new adventure on Friday, the 22^nd of December at 2023 at the People’s Theatre at Joburg Theatre.
