Lungelihle Zwane, popularly known as Uncle Waffles, has been announced as part of the Coachella 2023 line-up. The world famous music and art festival will take place in California this April. 

The ‘Tanzania’ hitmaker took to social media to share the exciting news with her supporters, who gave the news a warm welcome, rejoiced with her and expressed how proud they are of the moves she has been making. 

Uncle Waffles has been representing Amapiano on several international stages and flying the South African flag high. She has toured various parts of the world including the United States, Western Australia, Nigeria, Mexico and London. In April 2022, she shook social media when she trended for  receiving  a shout out from international rapper and renowned hitmaker,  Drake. 

Gracing the line-up to represent Mzansi alongside Uncle Waffles is House and Techno Dj Kyle Watson. 

Other African artists who have performed at Coachella in previous years include MoonChild, Dj Black Coffee, DBN Gogo, Mr Eazi as well as Burna Boy who has made it to the line-up again this year.
